Saturday, October 7th from 11am-4pm is a day planned with lots of activities and great fall fun. We will have hayrides, pumpkin bowling, ring toss, bean bag toss, sack races and horse rides. Dress-up your pet friend and participate in our Halloween Pet Parade. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners will be presented. The Lower Augusta Township Fire Department will be hosting a Chicken BBQ with lots of good eats. We will host several craft vendors as well to get an early start on that holiday shopping.
Horse Boarding, Training and Riding Lessons
Saturday, October 14th at 5pm. We are pleased to bring back Sandra Hoagland Snyder to share more of her knowledge for vaulting. There is no prior experience needed for this event just a desire to learn something new and to have some fun. Sandra takes her time to explain and has a demonstration on the proper and safe way of vaulting. The last portion of the clinic each individual is given the opportunity to demonstrate what they have learned. She explains in detail all the equipment, what they do for shows and shares the history all in a fun way. If your looking for something new and challenging register for our next vaulting clinic. H&P Christmas Party
Saturday December 2nd from 11am to 3pm. Come join us for a good ole fashion friends and family Christmas party. Santa and some friends from the North Pole will be available for pictures and well have some hot chocolate and hot cider to warm the soul. Snacks to keep it yummy and horse rides. Stop by and visit our ornament making station. Pictures with Santa and friends are $10.00 per picture. Santa and his friends are already starting the count down!
Ye Ole Trail Ride & Open House
Sunday, September 17th at 11am. Come join us for a brisk and relaxing trail ride on our scenic and private trails that take you through fields, small orchard, a wooded hill side and a small creek. If you have not visited the stables before, you are welcome to check out the indoor riding arena as well as boarding area. We've been lucky with weather and we've started many new friendships on the trail.
The ride is $25.00 per person and to keep you safe you must also provide your own horse and tack. Please register for this event on or before September 14th. Hope to see you then!
Fall Pony Day Camp
Saturday and Sunday, September 23rd and September 24th from 9am to 3pm. Campers will learn proper horse handling, how to care for these amazing companions and naturally riding techniques. Activities and games are intertwined during the day to keep the campers moving. Snacks and drinks are provided, however each camper must bring a packed lunch.
